![]() Laboratory Studies Since laboratory studies are used in conjunction with the clinical history, physical exam and should be interpreted by a physician, an appointment will be necessary to determine which tests are appropriate. If your physician has already ordered tests for you, get your lab requisition on line. You should get your blood drawn in our drawing station - unless otherwise directed by your insurance company. The drawing station is located in Suite 203 at 116 Defense Highway, Annapolis, Maryland. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday (7 AM to 5 PM). Your insurance company may require that you have your blood drawn at a specific laboratory drawing station separate from Annapolis Internal Medicine. Check with your insurance company to see if they have particular requirements for blood drawing/testing. Unfortunately, the locations, hours and insurance affiliations change too frequently to list here. Please contact your insurance company for a list of participating labs and their hours of operation. After tests are completed, your doctor may release the results for viewing in your e-chart. You may view those results by clicking on the following link: lab results online. If you have any questions regarding a bill you received for laboratory studies, please direct them to the lab that processed them, or your insurance company. |
